TITANIUM-ALLOY FORGINGS

摘要

This report contains current information on the availability, metal¬lurgical and dimensional quality, and mechanical properties of titanium die forgings. Included also are comments on design and how it affects the cost of die forgings.nTo keep pace with the ultrahigh-strength steels, the titanium industry has developed several alloys which can be heat treated to high strengths. The forgings that have been produced in these alloys exhibit remarkable quality and uniformity.
