Long-Chain Alkylammonium Nitrates as Extracting Agents for Pu(IV) Nitrate

摘要

The study emphasizes the extraction of tracer Pu(IV) from aqueous, usually 0.5 or 3 molar, nitric acid solutions by organic quaternary ammonium nitrates of a high molecular weight. o-Xylene and n-dodecane, sometimes modified with a few volume per cent of octanol, were mainly used as diluents.
