Summary Report on Hospital Information Systems.

摘要

This report is intended to summarize the current status of program and development efforts in this country in the area of automated hospital information systems, with particular emphasis on the involvement of the Public Health Service in the development and deployment of these systems. The objectives are to give a broad view of the components of automated information systems, to briefly evaluate the cost and effectiveness of such systems, and to estimate their future importance.
