A MACHINE TO FIELD SIZE IRREGULARLY SHAPED CROPS

A machine has been developed to size sweet potatoes;The principle used was that, of a "V" trough with an open bottom which would allow the small roots to fall through. Orientation of the roots was accomplished by the differences in belt speed of the Individual belts used to form the sides of the "V". One method of bin filling was evaluated.
