Single daily I.V. doses of daunomycin were injected for 3days followed by a 3days no treatment period for a total of 15treatments. All (4) monkeys at 2.0mg/kg level died after 9, 9, 7,and 6doses. All monkeys at 1.0mg/kg and 0.5mg/kg survived prescheduled treatment period (15doses). Treatment at 2.0mg/kg level was lethal and 1.0mg/kg was the toxic dose-'high'. The highest nontoxic dose was 0.5mg/kg.
