Evaluation of Heating Loads in Old Residential Structures.

摘要

The document describes the quantification of heating energy consumption in old (pre/1940) residences and compares such consumption with the energy consumed in new construction. Such data are valuable to EPA in the development of a model to predict emissions resulting from space heating for any known dwelling unit mix. The types of residences included in this study were new and old units representative of single-family detached units, townhouses,low-rise,and high-rise apartments.
