Historic Structure Report: Jacob Riis Park Historic District. Historical Data Gateway national Recreation Area, New Jersey-New York

This historic structure report (historical data section) has been prepared to satisfy in part the research needs as stated in the task directive (of September 1978; revised February 28, 1979) covering the designated buildings at Jacob Riis Park Historic District in Gateway National Recreation Area under Package No. 109. This package comprises a program for the rehabilitation of lands and facilities at Gateway. The purpose of this study has been an effort to provide a thorough historic study of the Jacob Riis Park Historic District to insure that the stabilization/preservation treatment of these structures and sistes is historically accurate.
