The comprehensive literature review covering rainfall simulation techniques: Identifies and documents the advantages and disadvantages of field research over laboratory research; Substantiates the proposed approach and eliminates possible controversy on the experimental design; Presents a concise review of over twenty years of literature dealing with rainfall simulation; and Provides a basis for examination and/or justification of the conclusions to be drawn from the current study.
