ACOP (Alluvial Channels Observation Project) Canals Equilibrium Runs: Computerized Data Base

The Alluvial Channels Observation Project (ACOP), a U.S.- Pakistan binational cooperative research project, has collected equilibrium state data on the link and irrigation canals in Pakistan during 1974-84. Periodic reports on the data have been issued in the past. These data have now been computerized and assembled into a data base. The present report describes the structure of the data base and the use of retrieval and tabulation programs on an IBM-PC. The data base comprises 2,267 runs compiled in 118 data sets. Data for individual runs include hydraulic, sedimentation and morphologic variables. Summary tables for all of the data runs are included.
