System foer Analys av Rapporter Angaende Fraemmande Undervattensverksamhet (System for Analysis of Reports Concerning Foreign Underwater Activities)

A computer system is described that can be used for interactive analysis of intelligence reports and generation of hypotheses concerning hostile operations. The system has been implemented on a Texas Instrument Explorer work station. The described application of the system is analysis of reports concerning foreign underwater activities, a task that generally is performed at command centers of naval bases. The system is a test-bed for research but has not been tested operationally. The report includes a literature survey on systems for analysis of intelligence reports.
