FINITE ELEMENT CALCULATIONS OF THE COMPLIANCE OF A TAPERED DOUBLE CANTILEVER BEAN SPECIMEN FOR DIFFERENT CRACK CONFIGURATIONS

A series of finite element calculations is carried out to investigate the influence of the crack configuration on the compliance of a tapered double cantilever bees specimen. The results of the calculations are compared with experimental data.
