PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of data of calculation results of a finite element method.SOLUTION: A conversion unit 12 acquires data 13 including a value corresponding to each node or element calculated for a model including nodes 13a to 13f and elements 13g to 13k representing areas separated by three or more nodes. The conversion unit 12 calculates grid points 14a to 14f specified by two or more axes orthogonal to each other, and calculates a value corresponding to at least part of grid points on the basis of the position and value of each node or element to store data 14 including the value of calculated grid point into a storage section 11. When retrieving data 14 from the storage section 11, the conversion unit 12 restores the value of each node or element on the basis of the position and value of each grid point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
