IMPLICATIONS OF GROUND TERMINAL TYPE-TEST RESULTS ON NATO SATCOM PHASEⅡ SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

摘要

The main objective of this memorandum is to evaluate the performance of a satellite ground terminal in its interim status at the completion of pre-delivery terminal type-testing. Twelve terminals will constitute the ground segment of the NATO SATCOM Phase .II system.nThe memorandum summarizes the electrical characteristics of the ground terminal and of the satellite Transponder, and presents some theoretical performance calculations. It then briefly describes the five-phase overall test programme prescribed for the ground segment of the system.
