摘要

A proposal to conduct experimental research in the optimum detection of laser transit anemometer (LTA) signals is presented. Papers on the following topics are presented in the appendices: (1) transit anemometer trials; (2) special problems of laser anemometry in difficult applications; (3) application of digital correlation to the measurement of velocity by light scattering; (4) photon counting frequency discriminator for laser Doppler velocimeter (LDV) systems; (5) photon counting processor for laser velocimetry; (6) study of photon correlation techniques for processing of laser velocimeter signals; and (7) advanced photon counting processor for low-level LDV signals.
