摘要

Two flat carbon fiber panels with the same membrane stiffness but different bending stiffness, i.e. different stacking sequence, were tested with respect to the buckling characteristics under compression load. The panels had approximately simply supported edges and were tested in a hydraulic test machine. Lateral de¬flections were measured by use of the shadow rapier method and strains were measured at some points by use of strain gages.nBoth panels failed at approximately the same load but had dif¬ferent post-buckling behavior. The buckling loads were very low in comparison with the ultimate loads.
