Requirements for Attaining Treanor's Distribution of Vibrational Energy among CO2 Levels in CW Gasdynamic Laser Flows

The evolution of the CO2/Ar molecular system during its expansion in a supersonic nozzle towards a Treanor type distribution system of CO2 vibrational levels is described. The analysis verifies that this type of the vibrational energy distribution exists in CW gasdynamic laser flows.
