Improved Pressure Iteration Procedure for the Sola Algorithm Applied to the Solution of the Incompressible Navier-Stokes Equations

The SOLA solver for the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations was analyzed to assess its application to the subgrid modeling of turbulent flows. A possible source of inaccuracies in the iterative procedure for the determination of pressure is identified, and eliminated with a simple modification.
