An imaging method for solids, which combines the line narrowing at the magic angle in the rotating frame with the full rotating frame NMR imaging technique is proposed. All imaging and spectroscopic methods can be used within the framework of the technique. It can provide an imaging contrast or a spatial map of relaxation times in RF or of relaxation times in the doubly rotating frame. These parameters are sensitive to slow and ultra slow molecular motion. Hence their spatial measurement can be of interest in any system with a critical slow molecular dynamic range as for example in polymers, in the molecular glassy state, and in the in vitro and in vivo study of the proteic part of biological tissues. The exploration of two (or three) spatial dimension can be performed by means of two (or three) RF gradients in two (or three) LF directions.
