A method based on Schwinger-Dyson equations for calculating block renormalized couplings by Monte Carlo renormalization group is presented. A numerical study for the 2-dimensional 0(3) nonlinear sigma-model is done. Results show that the method can be safely used to determine the renormalization group trajectory at any values of the coupling constants, and can be applied to a variety of interesting cases including four-dimensional lattice gauge theories. However it seems unlikely that it can be used to determine the Beta function of the theory with the necessary accuracy. The total VAX 11/780 CPU time used to produce all the data is 170 hr.
