Time-frequency representation of broad band signals; Ni's multigrid method; combustion of a nonmoving droplet (numerical study of the influence of the assumptions leading to the D sq law); rapid convergence numerical methods for calculating reactive flows; and experience in parallelizing numerical algorithms for MIMD architectures, using asynchronous methods are discussed.
