摘要

The parameters of the peaks shown in gamma-ray spectra may be determined by a simple iterative regression method. For each peak, the parameters determined are associated with a Gaussian curve (3 parameters) located above a linear continuum (2 parameters). This method may be used instead of much more complicated ones; furthermore, it gives the complete results of the calculation of statistical uncertainties and a precision higher than that which is given by simpler methods.
