摘要

An investigation has been conducted on the foaming characteristics of representative aircraft—engine lubricants in order to arrive at an adequate theory of the foaming of such oils. In the course of the research the effect of add¬ing a large number of chemical agents was studied, and the results of these tests are presented.nMethods of measuring foaming have been compared and analyzed for their significant factors.
