摘要

After discussing the theory of ray curvature of different colours of light, the author describes an instrument designed to determine the angle of refraction. He reports on the results obtained with this instrument at target distances of 6 and 18 km. The diffe¬rence method which has proved successful with this instrument may also be applied to the determination of the refractive index in distance measurement.
