SURVEY OF ELECTRON-CESIUM COLLISION PROBABILITIES:MOMENTUM TRANSFER COLLISIONS

摘要

This report contains a comprehensive collection of the experimental and theoretical values of the electron-cesium atom probability of collision for momentum transfer at electron energies up to 2.0 eV. It was found that a considerable lack of agreement exists, with regard not only to the magnitude of the collision probability at a given energy, but also to the position (even the existence) of minima and maxima. Qualified recommendations of the correct values are offered.
