HIGH-DENSITY PLASMA CONFINEMENT IN POLOIDAL MAGNETIC FIELDS

摘要

The theoretical background as well as obtained experimental results and future plans of the Swedish fusion research programme are reviewed. The specific problems of high-density plasma confinement in internal ring and rotating plasma devices are treated, including plasma generation, plasma balance, confinement schemes, stability, plasma heating, plasma diagnostics, and part of the reactor technological problems involved.
