More than 60 different mineral commodities are produced in Canada and the gross value of its mineral output in 1973 was about $5 billion (excluding mineral fuels). More than 60 percent of this output is exported. Some specific data on copper, nickel, zinc, iron ore, lead, molybdenum, uranium, asbestos, potash, and coal production, reserves, and forecasts are presented. (ERA citation 02:059923)
