Intentions of Fast Noble Gas Ions with Clean and with Oxidized Monocrystalline Copper Surfaces

The thesis reports investigations concerning the distorted shape of the energy distribution of scattered noble gas ions, and investigations of angular distributions of these ions where a quantitative interpretation is less hampered by preferential neutralization. Low energy noble gas ion scattering is used to study the interactions between oxygen gas and Cu(110) surfaces. (Atomindex citation 10:483289)
