progress during the past twelve months of DOE Contract DE-AC03-78ER02029 is reported. The principal results are the completion and preparation for publication of work demonstrating the conservation of wave momentum and describing the potential application of that fact to acoustic emission. Wave angular momentum is also shown to be conserved. A hitherto unstudied infinite family of surface and plate waves is described in detail and used to suggest wave momentum experiments.
