Critical Phase for the Antiferromagnetic Z(5) Model on a Square Lattice

The existence of a critical phase for the antiferromagnetic Z(5) model on a square lattice is suggested based on results of Monte Carlo (MC) simulations and of Migdal Kadanoff Renormalization Group calculations (MKRG). The MKRG simulates a line of fixed points which it is interpreted as the locus of attraction of a critical phase. The MC simulations are compatible with this interpretation.
