摘要

This report is part one of a three part series dedicated to observing the degradation of organophosphorus compound exposure to atmospheric moisture as a function of time. The investigation begins with 0-type agents, precursors and related impurities from the synthetic process. Experimental observation of chemical degradation is interpreted from the measured infrared over the 4000 to 400 wave number region. Infrared band assignments are reported and newly formed compounds are identified. The final fate of the compound from starting material is reported. Infrared stack plots are provided illustrating the chemical changes as a function of time.
