The Report describes an experimental, positive-displacement transmission suitable for use in road-vehicles, and gives results of performance tests carried out over a limited range of condition. Details of no-load losses, overall efficiency, torque ratio and volumetric efficiency are included, together with the effect of using oils of different viscosity.
