This report presents an experimental study on the effect of wave height and forward speed on the rolling response of the AGOR ship model unstabllized . and stabilized with passive tanks in regular beam seas. The effect of speed on the roll damping and natural period was also examined.nIt was found that an increase in wave height shifts the peak of the unstabllized roll response to slightly lower frequencies and that an increase in speed has almost no effect on the natural roll period but decreases unstabllized roll amplitudes and increases stabilized roll amplitudes.
