FURTHER COMMENTS ON THE MATHEMATICAL CONTENT OF THE BUSINESS SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Summary comment: With the increasing emphasis on new analytical concepts, methods and techniques for assisting in planning and decision-making in both public and private enterprise, it would seem that the modern business school has a responsibility to better prepare its graduates (both specialists and generalists) to cope with these problems. This, however, is in large measure a matter of judgment regarding the objectives of the business school--a question that ultimately must be resolved by the individual schools and colleges themselves.
