The report covers the acceptance tests performed on a 3.0-kw, advanced development, organic, Rankine-cycle power plant developed by Thermo Electron Corporation, Waltham, Massachusetts. The acceptance tests involve the evaluation of the following: electrical output, multifuel operation, fuel consumption, size, weight, inclined operation, noise level, extreme temperature operation, and life. The report includes a description of the principal components and control logic of the set and discusses the results of the tests performed.
