摘要

The purpose of this report is to present the results of a feasibility analysis of an acoustical holographic interferometric concept for the detection of flaws and voids in fiberglass composite pressure vessels. An approach is described which combines interferometry with acoustic holography to produce long wavelength acoustical holographic interferograms. By using ultrasound as the investigating radiation,the potential exists for displacement studies on the interior of normally opaque objects such as composite pressure vessels. The report develops a theory,and suggests some simple means to verify and further investigate acoustic holographic interferometry. (Modified author abstract)
