A conference on biological aspects of the bird/aircraft collision problem was held at Clemson University,South Carolina,February 5-7, 1974. Twenty-six papers were presented and are compiled in this proceedings. The sessions were concerned with identification and magnitude of the problem,methodologies and techniques available and proposed which would be useful in solution of the problem and future research needs,priorities,and program administration.
