Investigation of the Finite Element Method for Determining Green's Functions.

摘要

The purpose of this report was to investigate the feasibility of using the finite element method for determining Green's functions. The problems investigated had analytical solutions and numerical results were compared with an exact answer. The Green's function found by finite differences and by finite elements were then compared.
