摘要

Some commercial radio-frequency excited electrodeless discharge lamps have been evaluated as light sources for an atomic fluorescence spectrometric system. Limits of detection have been determined using these lamps in cw and modulated modes. Results do not show any major difference between the EDL's and an Eimac Xenon arc lamp when all the experimental conditions remain identical. However, marked improvements were obtained by modulating the EDLs. (Author)
