Evaluation of Various DB3Reagent Systems for Use in the XM256Chemical Agent Detector Kit to Detect Mustard.

The objective of this investigation was to obtain the best DB3ampoule that would satisfactorily pass the 'blank'and mustard (HD) requirements for the XM256Chemical Agent Kit. These DB3ampoules were tested before storage,and after one and two weeks storage at 90 C,with and without heat;as 'blanks,'and after HD exposure at 1.0mg/cu m. Only three of the 13ampoules tested satisfactorily passed the test requirements for consideration in the XM256Chemical Agent Kit. (Author)
