A Porcine Bioassay Study of the Physiological Effects of Fiber and Dye Degradation Products (FDP) on Burn Wound Healing.

摘要

Visible components of fiber and dye degradation products were deposited on the surface of burned skin. A single layer of fabric with a 6.35 mm air gap between it and the skin deposited the greatest amount of FDP. The presence of an intervening cotton T-shirt decreased the amount of FDP deposited on the skin. The authors found no evidence that the FDP caused alterations in wound healing. (Author)
