The reaction of substituted allyltrimethyltin compounds with methyllithium in tetrahydrofuran gave substituted allyllithium reagents. Reactions of the latter with trimethylchlorosilane, iodomethane (or benzyl bromide) and carbonyl compounds were examined. (Author)
