Improvement to the Standardization Life-Cycle-Cost Model for Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical Components and Equipments

摘要

The objective of this project was to improve the existing Standardization Life-Cycle-Cost Model and develop categories for the components within the Standard Components List (SCL). The model was improved by enhancing (revising) its sparing equations to make them more utilitarian by eliminating elements that did not provide significant life-cycle-cost differences between standard and similar non-standard components/equipments (C/E).
