摘要

The stated concern for the book is with the tremendous challenge of improving the vigor and persistence of trainees under day-to-day circumstances that are not extraordinary. The characteristics and limitation of the ARCS (Attention, Relevant, Confidence, Satisfication) model for motivational design are presented; ways to get, make, develop or generate the ARCS are discussed; followed by suggestions for using the ARCS model in the various phases of IPISD.
