Attention Control in Complex Information Processing Tasks

摘要

Results of this research can be summarized by starting that, under normal conditions, human operators are able to actively control their resource allocation. However, in the absence of feedback and proper instruction, the strategies which operators develop are often suboptimal. Moreover, time-sharing performance appears to be quite rigid and lacks the flexibility to respond efficiently to fluctuations in the requirements of the situation. (Author)
