This report describes research completed for the U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) identifying, describing, and measuring psychophysiological phenomena associated with work/rest cycles during extended military operations. The specific tasks were to: Provide trained personnel to assist in the development of data collection procedures and to assist in actual data collection at USAHEL; produce a methodological report on the appropriate method of electrode placements for accurate sleep stage recordings; produce an evaluation report of USAARL's prototype SASSSY (Psychophysiological Data Retrieval, Storage, and Analysis System; Telefactor Corp.); and produce a final report of exploratory data collected at USAHEL.
