Four topics are discussed here. First, the near line center absorption line shape of water vapor is shown to be the Van Vleck Weisskopf shape. Second, Gordon's theory is recommended for calculation of absorption by the tails of the 60 GHz band of oxygen and the oxygen nonresonant absorption. Third, the dispersive refractivity from water-vapor lines above 1 THz is reduced to a simple calculation. Fourth, a model of refraction and absorption and their sensitivity to fluctuations of temperature and humidity is described.
