摘要

The reaction of 1, 2, 3-triphenyltriphosphaindan with nonacarbonyldiiron or dodecacarbonyltriiron occurs rapidly in benzene at reflux to give a mixture of at least five components, as monitored by HPLC. In addition to -1, 2-PHENYLENEBIS(PHOSPHIDO) hexacarbonyldiiron and octacarbonyl 1,2,3-tiphenyl-1,2,3-triphoaphaindan-K superscript P1, K superscript P3 diiron(0), three Fe3 species were isolated and their structures determined by X-ray crystallography, two of which were P3Fe3 clusters and the other, a P3Fe3 cluster precursor.
