DCS (Defense Communications System) Timing and Synchronization Interface Plan-Korea

The information presented in this technical note provides system level interface guidance between two distinct programs; the DCS Transmission System Timing and Synchronization (T&S) Program and the Defense Switched Network (DSN) Program. The technical characteristics of the T&S system are described and the functional interoperability relationship of the station clock as a timing source with its associated DSN switch is discussed. This planning information specifically addresses the DSN-DCS clock system relationship in Korea.
