摘要

A new negative resistance oscillator model was proposed. The mathematical properties of the associated nonlinear differential equation were investigated for a single-mode LCR network oscillator. Under suitable conditions, small-amplitude stable limit-cycle oscillations can occur. The method of harmonic balance is used to calculate an analytic approximation to the limit-cycle parameters. Also, the general properties of trajectories in phase-space are presented. These predictions are compared with the results obtained by numerical integration of the differential equation. Reprints.
