Teaching semiphysical modeling to che students using a brine-water mixing tank experiment

摘要

Process dynamics education in the ChE curriculum is usually accomplished as part of a dedicated controls course,which is listed in most programs of study as a senior-year course;many papers have been published in the literature describing process control educational efforts and laboratories.The fundamentals of the dynamical behavior of engineering systems can be adequately presented much earlier in the curriculum,however,and done so in the context of applications more general than process systems.
